The Kings are the Kings....now Miami or OKC?

So the Kings won. Yeah, that's right LA prevailed over the NJ Devils to claim the Stanley Cup. LA may have made it more challenging than necessary, but anyway, they are the champions. The Kings overpowered the Devils with their speed and agility to complement their youth. NJ was stuck trying to keep up with the swift moving skating that the Kings possessed on the ice for the better part of the series. Much like the Miami-Boston series, the victor utilized its youthful bodies to wear down the opposition and ultimately succeed. After blowing a chance to clinch the Cup two games in a row, it was apparent that the Devils could possibly come back from all the way down and steal a championship from LA. I found this series very exciting, as the drama of postseason hockey is intriguing. You won't catch me dead watching hockey during the regular season, but the excitement that fills the arenas is escalating as every game seems like the 2011 NFL Wild Card Round playoff game between the Saints and Seahawks at Qwest Field with the 12th Man. Hopefully, the NBA Finals will be just as, if not more, exciting, as Lebron James and the Miami Heat take on Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lebron and Durant are arguably the 2 greatest players on the planet and have been in discussions involving Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird. These 2 players are the motor that runs the respective offenses and make an impact with their defensive abilities. What may give Lebron his first ring, doesn't have anything to do with him. The Heat have some strong, consistent role playing guys that back up James, and not to mention 2/3 of the Big 3 in Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. The Thunder have Russel Westbrook and some other quality players, but as the series progresses, the depth of a team will decide the championship and obviously between Mario Chalmers, James Jones, Udonis Haslem, Shane Battier, and Joel Anthony, the Heat have a much more talented and versatile bench. Although, we have a limited view of Kevin Durant in clutch situations, statistics support that Durant can perform under pressure judging from his skills and character. The Thunder are a great story after moving from Seattle to Oklahoma City, they are on the verge of an NBA Title. I find it hard to root against the Thunder, and quite easy to do so against the Heat. After an exciting Stanley Cup, I am ecstatic to be able to watch what could be the one of the greatest NBA Finals, ever. #TeamKevin #TeamLebron @KDTrey5 @KingJames
