>As most of you know there will be a new movie coming out Friday and it isn't New Moon. It is The Blidside starring Quinton Aaron, Sandra Bullock, and Tim McGraw. So in honor of this movie coming out I have decided to make a countdown of the top ten best sport movies ever.
#10 Fever Pitch- The Red Sox are down 3-0 when all hope is gone in Boston Ben learns that love is more important than sports. Eventually he gets the girl and the Sox win the World Series.
#9 Sandlot#3: Heading Home- When famed and stuck up Santa Santorelli travels back in time to make his life right he faces the decision that he blew twenty years earlier.
#8 The Air Bud Series- Athletic dogs helping their family and friends with sports and life challenges and feats.
#7 Cobb- This movie shows how Ty Cobb didn't want to be remembered as that jerk and he reveals his life story and how he didn't want to be a bad person.
#6- Rookie of the Year- A terrible baseball player breaks his arm and when he recovers it is stronger and better than any arm before. Eventually the lowly Cubs hear about him and sign him he later pitches them into the hunt.
#5 Rookie- When a middle aged man heading nowhere in life shows up at the Devil Rays tryouts and makes the team and moves up through the minor league ranks he discovers even he is not Sandy Koufax his son will always love him and think he is the greatest whether it being as a dad or a player.
The Final Four
#4 Sandlot#2- Ten years after the original sandlot gang a new group of players come this time with a few girls. There is still the jerk Little Leaguers and Hercules but different humor is used.
#3 Mr.3000- After deliberately leaving the Brewers organization after collecting his 3000th hit Mr.3000 fins out 2 of his hits don't count. Now he tries to get back into shape for the last month of the season he falls just short but learns that team success is always better than personal success.
#2 Shea Goodbye- A movie that shows the importance and history of Shea and a look forward to Citi Field.
#1 Rudy- When a football player who loves the game and worships the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Team and University gets an opportunity to go to Notre Dame he immediately accepts. Throughout his four years as an Irish football player he was promised to be able to dress one game but his family doesn't believe him that he is on the team. This is a heartwarming true story just like The Blindside
