The Saints have been close enough to the Super Bowl. They could taste it. A few years ago the Saints found themselves against the mighty Bears. They lost that game. The Bears went onto lose the Super Bowl and the Manning Era started. If they had won they would've faced Peyton then but now ironically they find themselves facing the mighty Colts. The Saints were able to shut down the Cardinals and Vikings in their playoff games when Favre threw that interception. I can still hear the crowd screaming their heads off. I also saw Favre shake his head while limping off the field. If the Saints win, it'll be just in time for Mardi Gras. Maybe if they win, Sean Payton will arrange their Tickertape Parade and ride in on a series of floats in the Mardi Gras Parade.
