Hallelujah New Orleans
When Katrina hit five years ago New Orleans was wondering if football would ever return. Struggling quaterback, Drew Brees, came over from the Chargers his career was basically over. But the owner or GM or whoever signed him probably wouldn't of thought he would win the Super Bowl for them. After a hard first year of rebuilding the city another star joined the team. This was USC runningback Reggie Bush. They found themselves in the NFC Title Game verse the Chicago Bears. I still remember the look on my son's face when the Bears won. Just seeing his face made me upset. So after two years of rebuilding and signing key players such as Jonathan Vilma and Darren Sharper they end up giving Sean Peyton a Gatorade bath and lifting the Lombardi Trophy for all of America to see. Watching Drew Brees hold his adorable son with the tiny headphones on is going to be one of those pictures that every football fan in America will recognize in thirty years.
