The Super Pros and Cons

The Super Bowl is game where families are united but also a time where trash talk is considered clean language. So the Super Bowl has a downside as much as an upside. I have divided all my pros and cons into sections.
Glory and Fear
As much as the Super Bowl is a time to celebrate especially if your team is in it, it could leave you living in fear for two weeks before Game Day. You make it this far and fail.
Money
The Super Bowl could get you big money but also take your house and car. When you bet on the game and all the little details; first penalty, first team cheerleaders footage, and sometimes first timeout. Which is why you shouldn't go to Las Vegas to see the Super Bowl.

Food
Food is an international language. Here in America we like it big just like "Our Football." Sloppy Joes, Philly Cheesesteaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, and a super bowl of beer are some of the country's favorite Super Bowl Sunday meals. The big portions mean small sizes. Come Monday morning none of your clothes will fit and you'll regret that last burger or that last piece of cake.

Pregame Coverage
Everyone loves the Super Bowl but only some people watch the whole pregame show from late Friday night into the late afternoon on Sunday. Since it is so long it is nearly impossible to watch it all and sometimes it is so long and boring people say that it is the worst part of the Super Bowl. I agree even though it gives you full coverage and analysis it is way too long.

Commercials
The Super Bowl is a great time for companies to advertise. The commercials entertain many and sometimes bring a smile to a fan who's team is losing. Most of the commercials are stupid but funny but some are just too stupid it's annoying. I mean get back to the game!

Gametime
The game is already here. As you settle down to watch the game after the pregame shows and two weeks of newspaper coverage for the big game and well it's already here. The national anthem is sung and the camera flashes go off at kickoff. As you watch the first return you think of everything that happened this past season. Tom Brady's return, when the Jets and Giants were undefeated, the Lions' first win, the death of Chis Henry, Kerry Rhodes walking out on the media and Rex Ryan saying it is over, Saints verse Cowboys, Curtis Painter, the closing of Giant Stadium. Wow, what a year this has been!
