Here's Where It Gets Interesting

Now that every team has played a minimum of 8 games, the first half of the season is over. This is the most important part of the whole year, as the month of November is the month where the "started out hot" teams are separated from the real deal. November weeds out the teams who got the lucky bounces and plays while getting rid of the fluke rookies. Many teams have died in November. The month of November is the halfway mark. Similar to a school project, the teams that benefit, by utilizing these weeks to their advantage will be rewarded with a playoff berth or the A+. Then, there are the ones who fool around as they think they have all of December to fight for a spot. These are the procrastinators. These are the ones who in the last 2 weeks of the season, attempt to grind out wins, and hope for key losses by other teams, or in the analogy, the ones who stay up all night the preceding night and painstakingly try to finish the project. The outcome of the season will be interesting to see which teams can roll with the big guys, and who can't get past November.
