The 14 Games of Christmas

The NFL has decided to recognize Christmas and Christ's birth by playing most of the games this weekend on Christmas Eve. This is a smart move because Goodell and his cronies saw the possibility of plummeted ticket sales on a usually profitable weekend. Also, there are Americans who don't celebrate Christmas Eve. The Eve is usually celebrated more towards the evening. I have provided my insight about this weekend's games.
Cleveland @ Baltimore: Baltimore is looking to lock up a first round bye and all eyes will be on the Pittsburgh game because with a Raven win and Steeler loss, the Ravens get the coveted first round bye. This is also a meaningful game for Flacco and Co. because it is divisional game. But don't count out the Browns, these are the weekends that upsets are born and playoff hopes die.
Denver @ Buffalo: Denver is trying to recover from a tough loss, last week, as they hope Tim Tebow's prayers are answered once again. Buffalo is in a frustrated position right now, as they started off superb but withered as the season progressed. Expect the Bills to play some backups and Denver will come away with an easy win, if they can play all 4 quarters.
Tampa Bay @ Carolina: This a meaningless game between two divisional teams. Don't expect anything exciting except maybe the Carolina Three Headed Monster of DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and Cam Newton running all over the Bucs defense.
Arizona @ Cincinnati: Two surprising teams will go to head to head here in Week 16 as they both hope to keep their playoff fire burning. The winner of this game will probably stay in the hunt, and loser can just pack it up and hit the putting green until August.
Oakland @ Kansas City: Kansas City will win. With Romeo Crennel steering the KC train and the momentum off of last week's improbable win, the Chiefs will be the victors today. Oakland will try to continue their post-Davis magic, but the Chiefs, like every other out of it team, will try to win, just to make sure their opponent won't make the playoffs.
Miami @ New England: New England wants to win, as they never settle for where they are and rest their starters. The arrogant Pats will look to pile it on, but the Dolphins are rolling so don't think it will be an easy win for NE. The Dolphins started to play a little to late, after their winless start they have played great football.
New York @ New York: Its Christmastime in the City. The Battle of the Swamp on Christmas Eve is sure to be a meaningful game as the standards are the same as the Bengal- Cardinal game. Both teams have played atrociously of late so don't be surprised if it ends in a 3-3 tie.
St. Louis @ Pittsburgh: With Big Ben's status unanswered the Steelers hope to win and clinch their division if the Ravens lose. But watch out for the Rams. They have nothing to lose, so don't be surprised if St. Louis receives some Yuletide joy to go with the acquiring of Carlos Beltran.
Jacksonville @ Tennessee: Tennessee needs a win to keep their visions of sugar plums and January football dancing in their heads. With Houston struggling and Tennessee falling apart, it is safe to say that it is a little to late for the Colts. Also, it is a divisional game so a win is essential.
Minnesota @ Washington: Two teams that have just been as un-appealing as fruitcake bleh!
San Diego @ Detroit: Both teams need Old Saint Nick to bring some Christmas magic into effect, But otherwise count both teams out of the playoffs.
Philadelphia @ Dallas: There is no chance of a White Christmas in Dallas, but maybe a black one. If Philly wins, then they have a chance to make the playoffs as an 8-8 team. Jason Garret will load his sleigh full of Romo and Bryant, in hopes of a long satisfying winter's nap.
San Francisco @ Seattle: With Seattle looking into Santa's workshop, the 49ers need to win to preserve a first round bye and a possible top seeding if Green Bay loses tomorrow and next week.
